Criw Creu will return in 2024! Criw Creu is a creative project lead by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru with support from Literature Wales.
This time, we're proud to be working with a group of Young Offenders from HMP Parc near Bridgend and giving them opportunities to collaborate with artists and professional performers.
Jamie Williams from HMP Parc said:
'As part of the enrichment programme we aim to increase the children's confidence, self-esteem, team work, problem solving, communication skills and leadership skills. Whilst these children are in custody we focus on building the adaptive skills such as respect, core values, employability skills, teamwork, problem solving and creativity. By working in tandem with outside agencies and forging partnerships like Theatr Gen these complex children will be given every opportunity to succeed in life with the main focus to reduce re-offending.'
More information on Criw Creu 24 will be available soon
