Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru is the Welsh language national theatre company. The Welsh language is central to everything we do as a company, and promoting and developing the arts through the medium of Welsh is our main objective as a charity.
The company operates internally through the medium of Welsh and all the company's employees are fluent in Welsh.
In accordance with the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 and our compliance notice, the company is required to comply with Welsh language standards, set by the Welsh Government and the Welsh Language Commissioner. The standards promote and facilitate the Welsh language, and ensure that the Welsh language is not treated less favourably than English in Wales.
A copy of Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru's compliance notice is available below, as well as a compliance plan and the most recent annual report.

-

We’re committed to making our shows, projects and our day-to-day work as accessible as possible.
