We are excited to present Osian Davies as our Young Playwright in Residence for 2023 after he won the Drama Medal title at the Urdd Eisteddfod, 2022.
His winning play for the Drama Medal competition emphasized men's mental health, and this was the first time he had written a script and sent it to the Drama Medal competition. During 2023, Osian will have the opportunity to collaborate further with Theatr Gen as a Young Playwright in Residence, and we are excited to have the opportunity to hear about Osian's ideas as a screenwriter.
This is the second year we have run the Young Playwright in Residence scheme.
