“Driftwood from the top of his head to the tips of his toes, he goes wherever the wind blows...”
Life can be tough when you’re made of driftwood. As the magical wooden boy searches for his heart, a mother finds a piece of boat washed up on the shore. Will their unexpected encounter bring fresh hope or will memories from the past overwhelm her?
After captivating audiences at the 2023 National Eisteddfod, this magical adventure for the whole family combines intricate puppetry, a gripping story and ethereal music. Created by Owain Gwynn (War Horse, Life of Pi), Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru presents an inspiring story about the power of unexpected connection.
