“Cyn gynted â ma’r enw ‘Cymru’ yn ca’l ei delet’o, that’s it am byth.”
The year is 2039. Scotland is independent, Ireland has united and Wales is on the brink of a referendum to decide its future. Will the people decide to unite with England to create a new state? Is this the end of Wales?
A small group of young people gather in the ruins of the old Grange pub in Cardiff to plot a way of stopping the people from voting. But how far will they go to protect their identity? Can they rouse the Dragon from its slumber?
This is a thrilling new play by Rhydian Gwyn Lewis – winner of the Drama Medal at Cardiff National Eisteddfod 2018.
