Greta is out with friends when she meets the chancer Faust. But with darker forces at play, a bit of harmless flirting leads to an irreversible journey of destruction.

Faust + Greta is a tragic and twisted love story that sees the original German tale re-imagined in an amped-up, contemporary Wales. Devised and performed by an ensemble of young people coming out of lockdown, this digital theatrical experience is about the human obsession with wanting more, seizing power and pushing boundaries to extremes.

Inspired by T. Gwynn Jones’s Welsh translation of Goethe’s classic, Faust + Greta will embrace social distancing limitations to offer a completely new, experimental, and unexpected theatrical experience.
