This is the true story (well, true-ish) of Huw – or Huw Fyw as everyone calls him, since the other Huw in the village died in the Second World War.
Huw doesn’t believe in fate. And he doesn’t believe in smiling either… or waste or anything that requires him to get up from his armchair. But after a stroke of luck, Huw embarks on an adventure from his little village to central London; an adventure that will change the course of his life forever and help him learn to live for today, without forgetting the past.
Due to popular demand, Huw Fyw is back on tour giving audiences another opportunity to enjoy Tudur Owen’s first stage play – a hilarious and heartbreaking play exploring hope, laziness and how to make 4 cuppas from just one teabag!
Length: 90 minutes, no interval
Age Guidance: 12+
Contains strong language, adult themes and references to war, survivor’s guilt and PTSD.
