The acclaimed Welsh production, Dawns y Ceirw (★★★★ "Abundant wonder" - The Guardian).
It’s a cold winter’s night and a little deer called Carw plays alone in the snow, longing for a little warmth and kindness.
Suddenly, a shimmering little light appears! Although he hasn’t ventured far from his village before, Carw follows the little light on a magical adventure through the forest where he finds the love and strength within.
After enchanting audiences across Wales, this magical story returns for a very special revival – and now it’s travelling further than ever before! Dawns y Ceirw is heading to Japan, bringing Welsh language arts and culture to a new international audience.
Written and performed by Casi Wyn (Children’s Laureate of Wales 2022-23) alongside dancers Osian Meilir and Ruby Portus, this spellbinding production blends music, movement and imagination in a heart-warming tale of friendship and hope.
A Theatr Cymru production, supported by National Dance Company Wales and Tŷ Cerdd.
