Dal Gafael | Hold On

An ensemble of Wales’ most talented young performers perform this bittersweet story about climate justice and questions of identity.

NYTW, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and Fio have joined forces this year to present a brand-new stage production written by two of Wales’ most fresh and exciting new playwriting voices.

Steven Kavuma and Mared Llywelyn’s Dal Gafael / Hold On is a gripping bilingual fusion that bears witness to a young person's cry for a better future, destined to be shaped by the ancestry of their past.

Join the 24 strong cast - featuring some of Wales’ most talented young performers aged 16 - 22 and directed by Fio’s Dr Sita Thomas - in this bittersweet story with climate justice and questions of identity at its heart.
