Looking for your first step into a career in the arts?

We’re proud to be teaming up with the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme to recruit a Creative Development Assistant. The programme aims to get more people from low socio-economic backgrounds into cultural careers and we’re delighted to host one of 50 fellowships available across the UK aiming to address the social mobility issue within the cultural sector.

The Creative Development Assistant is a new role within our artistic team, working alongside our Artistic Director, Executive Producer and Creative Development Coordinator to support the company’s creative development projects and help shape our future programme. The role will include developing creative projects, reading scripts and proposals, and supporting the company’s skills development programmes.

The Creative Development Assistant will also receive a programme of professional development and mentorship from the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme, as well as forging creative connections across the UK and beyond as part of a Fellows Network with 49 other artists, curators and producers.

Salary: £19,500 per annum

Term: Fixed term for 1 year from January 2021 to December 2021
